Students pursuing Electrical Engineering, RF or Microwave Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Systems Engineering, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Mathematics.

For business and operations internships, we also consider majors in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or Operations Management, Human Resources (for example, HR Management or Organizational Psychology), Information Systems or Data Analytics, and Communications.

Yes, a competitive hourly rate.

Where are internships located?

Austin, TX (HQ); Westminster, CO; El Segundo, CA; Milton Keynes, UK. All roles are onsite due to lab/range access.

Do you sponsor visas?

Visa sponsorship is not available.

What’s the interview process?

Our interview process begins with a resume review, followed by a brief conversation with a recruiter. Next, you’ll have a technical interview to discuss your skills and problem-solving approach, and finally, a conversation with the hiring manager to learn more about the team and role.

What will I work on?

You’ll gain hands-on experience contributing to real aerospace and communications projects across engineering, manufacturing, and business functions—building industry-relevant skills in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

What skills help me stand out?

Strong signals include hands-on engineering projects (capstone, lab builds, competitions, open source), involvement in school organizations or technical teams, and passion and willingness to learn. Technical fundamentals also help but are position specific.

Is the 12-week length flexible?

Limited flexibility for academic calendars; note constraints in your application.

Do you offer return offers?

Yes. Our internship program is designed as a pathway to return offers and full-time roles. We use internships to provide meaningful space-industry experience and to identify top performers we can invite back to continue working with the team.

Are background checks or drug screens required?

Yes, a pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Do you offer relocation?

No relocation assistance is offered.

Do you provide housing?
